GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A massive, collaborative ArtPrize piece tells the stories of young people experiencing homelessness. Organizers hope it will inspire the community to take action.

Rites of Passage: Our Journey Home is installed at Cornerstone Church's Heritage Hill campus for ArtPrize 2025. It's a project from Covenant House Michigan, a nonprofit with locations in Grand Rapids and Detroit.

"We are for temporary housing to young people between the ages of 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness for whatever reason," explained Carolyn Allen, who serves as Covenant House Michigan's interim transformational program lead.
