A financial expert has issued a stark warning to any couples who are living together unmarried. During his BBC podcast, Martin Lewis shared details of a remarkable conversation he'd had with a taxi driver whilst travelling to the studio.

The father-of-one explained how the driver, named Joe, displayed his wedding ring and disclosed that he and his partner had got married because of the Money Saving Expert founder.
