The Frederick County Administrative Charging Committee cleared a Thurmont police officer of misconduct allegations after a town commissioner compared his actions to “Nazi tactics.”

The Thurmont Police Department opened an internal investigation after Commissioner Bill Blakeslee made several complaints about Officer Michael Weaver regarding a July incident at Thurmont Community Park.
