Simon Jordan claims that Aston Villa’s results at the start of the season haven’t been as bad as many are making out.

Unai Emery’s side have scored just two goals in their first six games across all competitions and currently sit in the Premier League’s bottom three.

This comes after drawing three matches — against Newcastle United , Everton, and Sunderland — and losing to Brentford away and Crystal Palace at home before the September international break.

While Villa are still searching for their first win of the season, going unbeaten in 90 minutes across their last three matches offers something of a platform to build on.

However, it’s difficult to find positives when Villa failed to beat 10-man Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
