Crews fight fire in vacant central Omaha building early Wednesday
The Omaha Fire Department responded to a fire in a vacant building early Wednesday.
The fire started just after 1 a.m. Wednesday in a building at the corner of 72nd and Farnam streets.
Firefighters tell First Alert 6 on the scene when they arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor. A second alarm was issued.
It took about 50 minutes to get the fire under control, and no injuries were reported.
