KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A driver in a pickup truck hit a building early Wednesday morning in northeast Kansas City, the fire department said.
According to the Kansas City Fire Department, crews were sent to a business for reports of a vehicle that was driven into a building at 4601 Independence Ave. around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The fire department said the occupants of the truck left the scene.
The city's Dangerous Buildings unit has been notified and KCFD is staying at the scene until a crew comes to board up a large hole in front of the building.
No injuries were reported.
According to the fire department, the building that was struck houses a dentist's office.
