Over 1,000 people made the journey to downtown Morristown to enjoy culture at the 2025 Arts in the Park event on Saturday.

Centered on the downtown green next to the farmer’s market, scores of artists and performers had their talents on display for the crowd enjoying the late summer weather.

“It was wonderful,” Morristown Parks and Recreation Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator Jennifer Gentry said. “We had around 25 artists set up and I would say there was, easily, over 1,500 people there throughout the day.”

Gentry and the team are in a busy season right now with events like Touch a Truck on Tuesday evening and Scarecrows in the Park starting on Friday, with room for last minute scarecrow entries, and the energy of these events is riding high off the success of the arts extravaga
