FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The City of Fairmont has announced redevelopment plans for the old Fairmont Box Factory property, including extending the West Fork River Trail and adding other requested amenities.

According to a press release sent Wednesday, the city will convert the factory property that it acquired and cleaned up earlier this year into Momentum Adventure Park (MAP). MAP will include a major trailhead for the West Fork River Trail, two new miles of trail, a skate park, a bouldering wall, a pump track and skill courses, according to the release.
