Revlon has sent airmail letters containing 'gestures of goodwill to UK customers who complained of 'rashes, bumps and burning' after using certain Mitchum deodorants.

The parent company of Mitchum responded to shoppers who contacted them via the website to share that their skin had been irritated by 48-hour roll-on antiperspirant and deodorant.

Mitchum said that it was 'truly sorry' about the issue, which it says was caused by a change in the manufacturing process which affected one of the raw materials used.
