UWPD gives all clear near Johnson Street, Wisconsin Avenue after man reported in area with knife

MADISON (WKOW) — The University of Madison-Wisconsin Police Department has given the all clear near Johnson Street and Wisconsin Avenue after it was reported earlier Wednesday morning that a man was in the area with a knife.

A BadgerSAFE alert was sent out for a man with a knife reported near Johnson Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

The University of Madison-Wisconsin Police Department said the area has been cleared and it's safe to return to the area for normal activities.
