Chris Sutton has questioned whether Aston Villa can 'quickly and easily' turn their stuttering form around.

Villa go into Thursday night's Europa League opener against Bologna looking for their first win of the season and having scored just two goals in six games.

They also face the Italian outfit with swingeing criticism from their manager Unai Emery ringing in their ears after the Spaniard lambasted his team for being 'lazy' in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

Sutton worked as a co-commentator on that game and at the time called out Villa's commitment levels, a theme he has since returned to.
