LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There is a new scam going around trying to get people to but tickets to "Louisville Fashion Week." Only problem is the event does not exist.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Kentucky and south central Indiana announced Wednesday it is warning community members of a potential scam involving a nonexistent event.

Mellwood Art Center alerted the BBB using its scam tracker of a website promoting an event called "Louisville Fashion Week." The website, www.louisvillefashionweek.net, promotes a four-day event scheduled for Nov. 6-9 at the venue.

However, according to staff at Mellwood, they have no knowledge of Louisville Fashion Week and no such event has been booked at their facility.
