According to national rankings and review site Niche , North Alabama's Madison County is currently the seventh best county in the country to live in. The rankings also showed that the county holds the number one spot in Alabama in the same category.
Niche, which evaluated more than 2,764 counties across the United States for its rankings, provided a description of the area and highlighted some of its positive attributes.
"Madison County is located in Alabama with a population of 397,135," the company wrote of the North Alabama county.
