NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A federal grand jury in New Haven returned an indictment on Tuesday charging 15 people with conspiring to traffic fentanyl and cocaine into and around southern Connecticut .
The indictment was announced in a report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut David Sullivan that also gives attribution to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s New Haven Division.
Those charged include Damien Hazel, 26, of Bridgeport; Yanishka “Nani” Arroyo-Rivera, 22, of Bridgeport; Nichoals “Nick” Vega, 25, of Ansonia; Omar “O” Viera, 32, of Waterbury; Jonathan “Big Head” Mejia, 27, of Kentucky, formerly of Hamden; Nestor “Joey” Rosado, 27, of Bridgeport; and Victor “Mostro” Francisco Bonilla, 34, of Bridgeport.
Other individuals who are indicted are Kelvin Ol
