FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Franklin Band is bringing back a beloved tradition to support its once-in-a-lifetime trip to Pasadena, California.
The band is holding a Throwback Fruit Sale to help raise funds for their upcoming trip to the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade. Band officials announced they were invited to the Rose Parade earlier this school year.
They also said it would cost approximately $1 million to fund the whole band's trip to California on New Year's Day. The community fundraiser offers premium fruit, vegetables, cheesecakes, and more for sale. Proceeds will help the students march in one of the most prestigious parades, which only invites 18 bands worldwide each year.
Sales will continue through Oct. 24, according to the band. Orders can be made through active Franklin
