BISMARCK — The Department of Veterans Affairs on Wednesday, Sept. 24, announced $1.9 million in grants to help Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
Community Action Partnership of North Dakota was the sole recipient of the award, which comes as part of an overall $818 million in funds the VA is awarding through its Supportive Services for Veteran Families program, according to a Wednesday release from the agency.
The money will be used throughout the 2026 fiscal year to help veterans access housing, housing counseling, health care, financial planning services, childcare, legal assistance and transportation.
