STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Book lovers rejoice! A new Barnes & Noble location is set to open in Strongsville in January 2026.

The city announced the bookstore's newest location on their official Facebook page last week. It will take over the former Bed, Bath & Beyond location, which closed in 2023, across from SouthPark Mall.

The Barnes & Noble location will fill the void in the city left by Borders when it closed in 2011.

According to the store's page on the company's website , the Strongsville location will feature a cafe. Other Barnes & Noble locations feature Starbucks drinks and food, however that has yet to be officially confirmed by the company.

The opening will mark the sixth location in Northeast Ohio, including Westlake, Akron, North Canton, Mentor and Woodmere.
