ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A U.S. Postal Service facility in South Fulton was evacuated Wednesday night over a reported bomb threat, police said.

Around 6:49 p.m., South Fulton police said they responded to the reported threat at the USPS facility located at 125 Villanova Drive “after a suspicious package was discovered inside.”

As a precaution, all employees and nearby businesses were safely evacuated, according to police.

“The package was determined to have been returned to the facility as undeliverable,” police said.

Police remain at the facility as they continue their investigation.
