MOKULEIA, Hawaii (Island News) -- A sexual predator wanted half way around the world in Sweden was tracked down by the FBI on Oahu's North Shore.

Swedish authorities contacted U.S. officials about alleged sexually explicit materials sent to a minor in Sweden from a cellphone in Hawaii.

The FBI investigated and found the cellphone belonged to Victor Miguel Calderon.

After obtaining a search warrant, agents located Calderon at Mokuleia Army Beach across from Dillingham AIrfield on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025. Agents located him and the cell phone inside a tent on the beach.

According to court documents, child pornography videos were found on the phone.

Calderon was charged with possession of child pornography.
