LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The five Michigan State football captains interacted with young patients at the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow on Wednesday.

MSU is currently on its bye week and Aidan Chiles, Quindarius Dunnigan, Sam Edwards, Matt Gulbin and Jordan Hall took time out of days to go visit and interact with young patients.

“Sometimes you get in the grind of things and you forget some of the impact just given your position. To be able to sit down and reconnect with the community and put those smiles on their faces is so special,” said Edwards.

Whether it was painting their nails, playing Tic Tac Toe, UNO, arm wrestling, or just giving a patient a hug the Spartan players were grateful for the opportunity to give back.
