A comedy night which launched the careers of a number of household names is returning to Plymouth tonight (Thursday, September 25) – and it’s free to attend.
Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Marcus Brigstocke are all among the star alumni of a comedy nightwhich was started at the former Club Fandango on the Hoe, but has been resurrected at Cosmic Kitchen.
Taking place on the last Thursday every month, Comedy at Cosmic starts again tonight at the vegan restaurant behind the Magistrates’ Court.
Four London-based comedians are heading to Plymouth to test their stand-up routines, hoping to follow the dozen or so names which emerged from the same event having been booked by Geoff Whiting and his Mirth Control agency.
