Patchy fog will greet you headed out the door Thursday morning, with a transition to mostly sunny skies by midday. Highs will peak around 91° by mid afternoon with a south breeze under 10 mph.

Late week, our next weather-maker arrives. A slow moving cold front will ease in on Friday. Isolated showers or thunderstorms will start to pop up Thursday evening, becoming more numerous Friday and Saturday as the front lingers near the coast. That doesn’t mean a washout, but have the umbrella handy and plan around intermittent downpours, lightning, and brief gusty winds. Clouds and rain will trim temperatures a touch heading into the weekend.
