Family STEAM Night: Art and Science in Woods Hole, presented by the Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership (WHSTEP), will be held on Wednesday, October 1, from 5:30 to 7 PM at the Marine Biological Laboratory Pierce Exhibit Center and MBL Club, 100 Water Street, Woods Hole. The public is invited. Parking will be free at all MBL lots.

The event will feature interactive exhibits from WHSTEP’s partnering schools and scientific institutions that blend art and marine science. There will be activities for students of all ages and opportunities for the public to meet local scientists and artists.

Falmouth Public Schools will have a display on science-based ceramic student artworks, coordinated by Falmouth High School art teachers Jane Baker and Corine Adams. Mashpee Public Scho
