STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD posted on social media that officers confiscated two guns after attempting to pull over a stolen vehicle.

Officers Gramlich, Fraumeni, and Burke of the 120th Public Safety Team are credited with recovering the firearms, according to the precinct’s X feed, formerly known as Twitter.

The driver allegedly did not comply with the traffic stop and fled on foot, with officers in pursuit.

Officers reportedly found the firearms on the individual after taking that person into custody.
