Striker Bim Pepple is looking to start getting among the goals regularly for Plymouth Argyle after scoring his first one for the club in the 6-2 Vertu Trophy victory over Tottenham Hotspur under-21s at Home Park.
The 22-year-old put the Pilgrims 3-0 up in only the 28th minute with a close range finish after the ball was headed back across to him by Ayman Benarous, who is one of his closest colleagues in the squad. It was Pepple's 11th game for Argyle since joining from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee in the summer but just his fourth start, and only two of them have come in League One action.
He said: "I just needed to get off the mark regardless of the competition so now my focus is can I get off the mark in the league and then once I score one let me keep going so it's good."
