ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Armani Johnson has been through a lot.
In 2013, she along with her friend were just 14 years old when she said they were sold for sex out of a Stockbridge hotel over the course of several days.

“A lot of people turned a blind eye on me. A lot of people turned a blind eye on my friend,” she said.
Johnson’s attorney Patrick McDonough, with the Andersen, Tate and Carr law firm, recently won a $40 million jury verdict in a similar case.
Now, he’s helped Johnson and her friend reach a $5 million settlement, to come from the operator at Days Inn by Wyndham.
