What does it mean to have Blue Knight Pride? Oak Ridge students demonstrated their understanding of what it means to be a Blue Knight and a part of the Oak Ridge community by participating in a poster contest.

From Blue Knights to messages of inclusivity and even to dragons, students honed in their school spirit and creativity, with the winning artwork being permanently displayed at the school.

“We did a lot of work with our strategic plan last year in terms of uniting our three schools and fostering a sense of pride,” said Assistant Principal Mary Kate Stevens. “We came up with this idea to beautify our halls and get kids making art.”
