A 27-year-old woman was arrested and charged with impaired driving and refusal after she would not provide blood samples to investigators.
RCMP were contacted after a woman arrived at the hospital in Happy Valley-Goose Bay in a pickup truck around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Staff at the hospital were concerned about the possibility that she drove there while impaired, so they contacted police.
Officers determined that the woman was showing signs of impairment and arrested for impaired driving, however she refused a blood demand.
The woman’s licence was suspected and her truck was seized and impounded. She was released to appear in court on November 20.
