Good morning, everyone! We've got a bit of a transition happening in the weather pattern here for Lafayette and the surrounding areas in Northern Indiana. As we kick off our Thursday, we are still shaking off some scattered showers that have been lingering from early this morning, particularly across the southern parts of our viewing area.

By this afternoon, we expect those clouds to break up nicely, leading to partly cloudy skies. We're forecasting a high temperature right around 74 degrees, with a light northerly breeze. As we head into tonight, we're anticipating skies to clear out, which is great for stargazing, but it also sets the stage for some potential fog development overnight, especially in areas that might retain a bit more moisture.
