Phoenix police are investigating a shooting that left three men dead in a south Phoenix neighborhood.
Officers responded about 9:10 p.m. Sept. 23 to a shooting reported near 24 th Street and Southern Avenue and on their way saw that two vehicles had collided. A man with at least one gunshot wound was found in one of the vehicles, police said.
Authorities then received a call from a nearby restaurant about a man inside the business who was suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a release.
One of the men told police they had been shot at a residence near 23 rd Street and Lynne Lane. Both of the gunshot victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
