The afro-soul track carries a heartfelt message about two lovers who share an inseparable bond and find it hard to part ways despite challenges.

Since its release, Running Mate has already gained massive traction online, amassing over 42,000 views on YouTube within just five hours. Many fans have praised Onesimus, saying he never disappoints whenever he releases a song.
