An early morning fire at a Chattanooga school was "under control in minutes" thanks to the Chattanooga Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched at 6:27am to the Avondale Head Start on Ocoee Street after a maintenance worker reported fire alarms going off and smoke in the building.
Just a few minutes later, crews arrived to find smoke on the second floor. The Chattanooga Fire Dept. says the fire was under control by 6:40am.
Investigators say the fire was caused by a small refrigerator in an office.
There were no injuries, and investigators believe it was accidental.
