Rod Stewart was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017 and while his health battle has been widely documented, at the time he wanted to keep it all private. The Maggie May rocker discovered he had an aggressive form of prostate cancer after a routine appointment but Rod made it clear he didn't want anybody else to know at first.

Sir Rod told wife Penny Lancaster that he wanted to figure out what he was dealing with before he went public with his diagnosis.
