BLUE ISLAND, Ill. (WTVO) — A 13-year-old girl who was reported missing in New York was found in the Chicago area last week, in the company of two undocumented migrants who were exploiting her, according to U.S. Marshals.

According to the Rochester Police Department, the girl left her family's home on September 11th with three people who were seen on security camera video, and got into a light-colored SUV.

On September 16th, police requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals in the Western District of New York. Investigators working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were able to track the girl to the Chicago area, and contacted the U.S. Marshals in the Northern District of Illinois.
