Yadgir: A man in Duganoor of the taluk, a man allegedly killed two of his children and also attempted to murder another son, following a suspicion that his wife was in an extramarital relationship.

The deceased boys are Bhargav (5) and Saanvi (3), while the eldest child Hemanth (8) is learned to have escaped with minor injuries and is being treated at the Yadgir District Hospital.

The accused, identified as Sharanappa, is absconding.

A case has been booked by the Yadgir Rural Police. Pruthvik Shankar, Police Superintendent of Yadgir, reportedly visited the crime scene and has conducted an inspection.
