Mangaluru: Barke police have arrested two men in connection with the possession and supply of narcotic substances and seized 174 grams of opium along with other valuables from them.

The arrested have been identified as Vasudeva alias San (48), originally from Jalore district of Rajasthan and currently residing in a rented house at Bhagavati Nagar, and Mangal Chaudhary (45), a native of Rajasthan living near Kudroli.

Acting on reliable information, Barke police sub-inspector Vinayak Thoragal and his team apprehended Vasudeva on Wednesday afternoon near the Gujarati School behind Bhagavati Nagar, Kodyalbail.
