Bourne High School has received the National Banner recognition from Special Olympics North America, distinguishing the school as a leader in inclusion, advocacy and respect.

The honor is awarded to schools that demonstrate outstanding commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all students. Bourne High School was selected by a national certifying body after meeting rigorous standards of excellence in areas such as student leadership, unified sports and whole-school engagement.

Bourne High School is one of only 17 schools in Massachusetts and among 217 schools nationwide to receive this designation for the 2024–25 school year.
