The Cape Cod Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA) is facing a permitting conflict for the public platform proposed for Mashpee River Woodlands.
At the Conservation Commission's meeting on September 18, commission chairman Steven Cook explained that the commission requested a notice of intent (NOI) filing “because of a coastal bank and the amount of disturbance and so forth.”
“They [NEMBA] came back and said they don’t have the resources for it, so they didn’t want to do that. We can talk about what we’d like to do as a commission,” Cook said.
