A 32-year-old Manchester man was arrested in connection with a stabbing earlier this week on Union Street, police said.

Randy Katanga, 32, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with first-degree assault. Investigators said a man was slashed on his right biceps during a fight around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at 434 Union St. in Manchester.

Katanga was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Manchester’s district court.
