SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Police are currently looking for information on a suspect who was caught using counterfeit bills in Sioux Falls.

On Friday, September 19, officers took a report of a counterfeit bill that was passed at a business near 12th Street and Kiwanis Avenue.

The suspect was described as an African American male with medium-length dreads who had passed a counterfeit $50 bill at the location.

Upon investigation, officers discovered that this same suspect had passed a counterfeit $50 bill the previous day at a business near 85th Street and Louise Avenue.
