A college football player is in some legal hot water after an arrest for DUI this week.

Daniel Lee Holmes, a redshirt freshman for the Maryland Terrapins, was arrested and charged with the aforementioned offense on Wednesday morning after crashing into a building in an apparent drunken state.

The Terps have gone undefeated over the first month of the new NCAA football season and are flying high, but they got some unwanted news after Holmes, who was recruited out of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., made what could turn out to be a decision that sets his career back.
