PLYMOUTH COUNTY, Iowa (KCAU) — Recently, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa reported they had rescued more than 100 dogs from a rural Plymouth County residence. Now, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office is saying three children were also removed from the home.
According to a release, officials with the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at around 10:45 a.m. on September 18 after reports that three children and animals were living in an unsafe environment.
Officials said that the three children were removed from the home due to living conditions. The children are now in the care of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
