Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 25:The Municipal Council has noticed that pigs are being reared within the Municipal limits, including residential areas, and are being allowed to stray in public places. This practice has led to numerous complaints from residents regarding nuisance, obstruction of traffic, and serious concerns for public health and sanitation.
The most vulnerable areas affected by pig nuisance have been identified as Delanipur, Prem Nagar, Goal Ghar, Middle Point, Junglighat, Phoenix Bay, Buniayadabad and Brookshabad. Residents of these localities have repeatedly drawn attention to unhygienic conditions, foul odours, damage to public property, and risks to the health and safety of the community.
