Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 25: As part of the 3rd phase nation-wide programme “To meet the local Member of Parliament” as per the call given by the Forum of Civil Pensioners Associations, New Delhi, a delegation from the Government Pensioners Association, Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 23.09.2025 submitted a Memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister of India demanding withdrawal of the decision to categories pensioners on the basis of their date of retirement for pay commission benefits and to set up the 8th Central Pay Commission immediately, to Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament from A & N Islands at his office at Port Blair with the request to forward the same to the Prime Minister.
