On Sept. 18th, I attended a meeting to discuss the replacement of the Red River bridge connecting 12th Avenue North in Fargo to 15th Avenue North in Moorhead. I'm not sure how well people were notified about this meeting because there were not many in attendance.
I guess there was a meeting in Fargo a few days before this one. They gave us an informational sheet about the project. The city of Fargo has been awarded a $1.5 million grant to complete studies, preliminary design, final design and construction documents. There is currently no funding for construction. The cities of Fargo and Moorhead are now reviewing options.
