WESTON, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri man has been charged after he allegedly sexually abused a child “nearly every day” for years.

Platte County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Sept. 24, indicate that William E. Johnson, 43, of Weston, has been charged with a child sex crime.

A probable cause statement filed by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office revealed that on Jan. 22, a Platte County School Resource Officer reported that a female student may have been sexually assaulted.

Investigators noted that the victim was brought in for an interview in early February. During which she disclosed that Johnson had been sexually abusing her nearly every day for years.
