GRANDVIEW, Mo. (KCTV) - An alleged drug dealer has been taken into custody after nearly 4 lbs. of cocaine and tens of thousands of dollars in cash were found in his home.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Sept. 19, indicate that Dewayne C. Clarke, 47, of Grandview, has been charged with trafficking drugs.

A probable cause statement filed by the Jackson County Drug Task Force revealed that a confidential informant told investigators in July that Clarke had distributed large amounts of crack cocaine.

As a result, law enforcement officials said several controlled purchases were devised:

Aug. 6 - CI purchased 12.9 grams of crack cocaine for $350

Aug. 21 - CI purchased 15.
