OREGON COUNTY, Mo. — A Thayer, Missouri, man has been charged after a fatal car crash on Dec. 1, 2024.
According to online court dockets, Robert Marvin Powell, born 1970, has been charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter, driving while intoxicated — death of another, failure to drive on the right half of roadway when roadway was of sufficient width and a second offense of owner-operator moving without maintaining financial responsibility.
The probable cause statement states the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) Troop D responded to a motor vehicle crash on Missouri 142, east of Route EE in Oregon County.
