AGAWAM, Mass. — If you're in the market for a good scare, Six Flags New England just kicked off a new season of Fright Fest.

The magic behind the screams, terrors and nightmares really starts with the scare actors who, donned in scary costumes and gory makeup, are ready to get people jumping and screaming through the mazes.

"If I scare you so bad that you get angry and you paid to be here, that to me, that just warms my heart," actor Elizabeth Cavanaugh said.

While it looks terrifying from the outside, for Cavanaugh and fellow actors, it's all a good time to them.

"Channeling all of those inner frustrations that you're kind of taught to hide in real life. And then you're here as a scare actor, you really get to channel all of that into screaming and running around," actor Willow Fa
