BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A grand jury has indicted a man previously charged in the livestreamed killing of a young Birmingham mother and for plotting a murder-for-hire from jail.

According to court documents, Justin Hendrix is now also facing charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and shooting into cars in an unrelated case. No word on the details of that case.

Hendrix was previously charged - along with several others - in the death of 21-year-old Asia Poole, who was murdered on Aug. 20, 2024 , in the 2900 block of Gallant Drive in Birmingham.

Investigators said Poole was killed when a “physical altercation” happened in the parking lot of an apartment complex, followed by shots fired, striking Poole and another person.
